The choice of exam centres must be distinct and arranged in order of preference. Once the preference is submitted, candidates cannot change it. CTET Exam Pattern comprises 2 papers – Paper-I for Classes I to V (Primary Stage) and Paper-II for Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage). CTET Exam Center Highlights
- One exam city can have multiple exam centers of CTET.
- The center once allotted to the candidates will not be changed under any circumstances.
- CBSE reserves the right to allot, add and cancel the exam centers of CTET 2023
- In case the number of candidates in any of the notified city is very less, the Board at its discretion may not conduct the examination in that city.
- Candidates who opted for the city as the first choice may be allotted examination centers in other cities opted as second and third choice.

Steps to Change the Exam Centres
- Go to the official website of CTET- ctet.nic.in
- Click the exam city correction button, which will be available at the bottom of the Home Page
- The aspirants have to provide the application number, security pin, and password.
- Click the Sign In button
- Next, the candidates have to click the Correction option on the Application Form button
- Now, the aspirants have to read the instructions thoroughly and then need to click the “I Agree” checkbox.
- Click on Proceed
- Now the candidate can change the priority order of the exam cities as per their choices
- Enter the security pin visible on the screen
- Click on the Submit Button
- Check all the provided details carefully
- Click the checkboxes on the page and then need to click the Final submit button
- Click the ‘Yes’ button and all the provided details will be saved successfully.
CTET Exam Day Instructions
Immediately after downloading CTET Admit Card, candidates must verify the particulars mentioned on the admit card.
- Candidates would not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the specified time is over.
- Candidates must not forget to carry their admit card of CTET along with the photo ID to the exam center allotted to them
- Candidates must not carry anything else apart from the CTET Admit Card and Photo ID to the exam center.
- Candidates found practicing unfair means during the examination will be disqualified.
- They can take water bottles to the exam center, however, the bottles should be transparent.
- No eatables or liquids or electronic items are allowed inside the examination hall.
- There should not be items in candidates' pockets like pieces of paper, etc or else they will be disqualified.
- Candidates can only take the basic analog watch to the examination hall.
- Candidates have to stay in the examination hall for the complete time duration of the CTET Exam. Even if the exam is oy have completed the test, they will not be permitted to leave the examination center.
- Items like books/registers/magazines/notepads are not allowed in the exam hall.
