CTET 2024 : Himanshi Singh CTET Notes PDF

The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted by the CBSE on January 21, 2024, in pen and paper mode. Candidates who are planning to appear for the 18th edition of the CTET exam should begin their exam preparations now. The CTET 2024 exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5 teachers and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8 teachers. The CTET 2024 syllabus includes section-wise topics for both papers from which questions are asked in the exam. The CTET Paper 1 includes topics from five sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies and the CTET Paper 2 syllabus comprises topics from four sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.



The CTET 2024 exam determines the eligibility of candidates as Classes 1 to 8 teachers in government schools such as  KVS, NVS, private schools, schools run by the state governments and others.  Aspirants need to appear for CTET 2024 Paper 1 if they want to become Classes 1 to 5 teachers and for Paper 2 if they want to teach Classes 6 to 8. Those who want to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to give both papers.
